Getting Here
Driving from Melbourne take the Hume Freeway north and turn off to Chiltern 35 km northeast of Wangaratta (about 3.5 hours from Melbourne).
Driving from Sydney or Canberra head south on the Hume Highway and turn off to Chiltern 30 km south-west of Albury-Wodonga (about 7 hours from Sydney, 5 hours from Canberra).
The V-Line train service has been temporarily replaced with a bus service between Albury/Wodonga and Melbourne during track upgrade works expected to be completed by the end of 2009. Visit the V Line website for time table amendments www.vline.com.au. The buses arrive and depart from the Martin Park bus stop in the town centre opposite the swimming pool.
