The miners’ cottages, Athenaeum Museum and Dow’s Pharmacy tell the story of our early pioneers; their struggles and their joys shared by a community with the pioneer vision to become what Chiltern is today – a peaceful, country town nestling in the hills of the spectacular surrounding National Parkland.

Chiltern Visual Arts Festival
Exhibiting for over a decade now this annual visual arts and photography display is fast becoming one of the regions major art events featuring works from renowned regional and National artists and photographers.
This year two and three dimensional works and photography will be on show and all exhibitors will be eligible for the prestigious Chiltern Art Prize valued at $1000.00, with prizes also awarded in each of four categories including the popular Indigo Emerging Artist Award for Young Emerging Artists.
All works exhibited during the event are available for purchase.
